高质量的学前教育至关重要，将为孩子们日后的学业和人生打下良好基础。MIS学前教育将沿用英国早期基础教育体系(EYFS)，以此作为教学基础，进而为小孩子们提供趣味、灵活且最适合孩子们的教育体验。

Good quality early education is extremely important in laying the groundwork for a child’s achievements later on in life. As such MIS Reception class will use the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum for England (EYFS) as the basis for planning and delivering engaging, autonomous and appropriate learning experiences for our youngest children.

 

 

EYFS寓教于乐，在趣味学习中为英国五岁之下的孩子们创造汲取知识的机会。这一独特受教育体验对孩子们而言是非常有意义的，因为此种教育形式将培养出小孩子们更强的独立性，并给小孩子们机会快乐成长、自信学习。同时此课程为孩子们进入第一年级的学习打好坚实的语言基础，提前培养小孩子第一年学习所需的语言技能。

The curriculum is a play-based one and sets the standards for the education of all children under five years old in England. The emphasis is on child led and play-based experiences which are meaningful, encourage independence and give young children the chance to become happy and confident learners. It also gives them the chance to develop their language skills before entering the Year One class the following year.

 

 

EYFS包含七个学习部分。最关键的三个部分为‘沟通及读写能力’、‘生理发展’、‘个人，社会及情感发展’，这三门课程是辅助其他课程学习的基础与关键。其他四个部分为‘读写能力’、‘数学’、‘理解世界’、‘表现性艺术及设计’。

The EYFS consists of seven areas of learning. The Prime Areas being ‘Communication and Literacy’, ‘Physical Development’ and ‘Personal, Social and Emotional Development’ and these are considered fundamental for underpinning all other learning areas. The other four Specific Areas are ‘Literacy’, ‘Mathematics’, ‘Understanding the World’ and ‘Expressive Arts and Design’.

 

 

学前班级的孩子大部分时间将在班级教师(一名外教与一名中教)的陪伴下在教室度过。此外，学校还将为学前学生提供中文、音乐及体育(包括游泳)课程，均由专业教师授课。

Children in the Reception class will spend most of their time in their classroom with their designated teachers (one international teacher and one Chinese teacher). In addition, they will have Mandarin, Music and PE (including swimming) lessons, taught by specialist teachers.
