上师大附二外2019届毕业生申请结果揭晓

 

上师大附二外美高部即将迎来自己的毕业季，学子们纷纷收到名校offer向我报喜，我心中甚是欣慰。三年的青春拔节生长，旺盛的像郁郁葱葱的大树，梦想也一点点接近现实，在这里你们晨读理想;在这里你们跋涉梦想;在这里你们奋力跳起;在这里你们畅游书的海洋，用知识装扮梦想天堂;在这里老师教育你们激扬文字，用语言明辨生活的哲理;在这里我见证你们的成长。未来，希望你们长成参天大树，做一名有抱负、有同理心的人。也希望你们能回母校，走走看看你们的老师，看看你们的师弟师妹，共享母校发展的喜悦!

“The SFLS American High School Division is about to start its graduation season. Students have received offers from prestigious universities and shared the good news with me. The last three years have been a reaping and harvesting season. Here, in these hallways, you have absorbed knowledge; here you have read, studied and learned to swim in the sea of books; here you have dreamed and turned those ideals into a reality; here teachers have inspired you to transform the written language into your life’s philosophies. I have been privileged to witness your growth. I have seen you flourish as a tree planted by the rivers, leap as if you’re reaching for the heavens. My earnest hope is that you will grow into towering trees and become ambitious and empathetic people. I also hope that you can come back to your Alma mater, see your teachers, your younger brothers and sisters, and share in the joy of the development of your Alma mater!”

 

 

 

收到offer时我从来没有和他人一样激动的心情。没有人的求学之路不是艰难与孤独并存的，但我就不是这样，有时我会适当的放松自己，所以我希望学弟学妹们在忙碌的学习准备申请阶段中也要学会放松自己，不要自闭。Top20不要只会熬夜学习的学生。学会收放自如，这种良好的心理暗示会让你更接近自己心仪的学校。

Jason Zhang has been admitted to the University of California, Berkeley.

“I was not as excited as others when I received my offer letter. Everyone’s study pathway is difficult and often lonely, but I did not let this affect me. I took time for relaxation activities. My hope is that the junior students in the busy study preparation stage also learn how to relax. The world’s Top20 universities are not looking for students who only stay up late studying. Learning to let go and unwind is a mindset that will bring you closer to your ideal school.”

我是在上学期收到自己的offer，我申请的这所学院鲜为人知，该学院也并不参加大学排名，但是该学院在我报考的专业里是具备非常出色的教育能力。在这里，我希望学弟学妹们能遵循自己内心的选择，“选择不仅大于努力，也会让你奋斗时不遗余力，热爱自己的热爱，最终会达到期望”。

Elaine Tang has received an offer from Sarah Lawrence College, a Liberal Arts College

“I received my offer last semester. The college I applied for isn’t as well known, and it doesn’t rank high in university rankings. However, it has excellent opportunities for me to study the major I applied for. I hope that this will inspire the junior students to follow their own dreams and goals, and realize that famous names won’t always satisfy your inner desires. Making this choice will hopefully help other students to spare no effort in pursuing their dreams, and eventually achieve their ultimate educational goal.”

伦斯勒理工学院虽然不是我最心仪的学院，但也算满足自己对自己的期待了。回想自己的学习和申请之路，我认为“妥善准备”四字尤为重要。多了解各个申请院校的条件和规定，注意各资料提交的截止时间，不要因为这是小细节而不给予重视，事实上“申请之路无小事”。

Tony Mu has received an offer from The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. “The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute was not my first choice of college, but it satisfies my expectations. Thinking back on my studies and application to colleges, I think the word “well-prepared” is particularly important. I would advise other students to learn more about the conditions and requirements of each college they apply for and pay attention to application deadlines. Don’t ignore this as a minor detail. In fact, every single step in applying for college is important.”

在offer选择上为学生提供专业意见;

邀请海外大学来我校举办宣讲会;

通过各种会议及活动与海外大学招生办公室保持联系;

开展针对家长的升学工作坊......

“Seeing students get offers that suit their own unique needs and individual hopes and desires, I feel extremely happy for them. The Guidance Department will continue to complete the following tasks to help more students realize their life dreams…

To help students develop their talents, abilities, interests and goals;

Regular meetings with students and parents;

To introduce students to the advantages and characteristics of different universities and admission requirements;

Guide students to complete the whole college application process and help them prepare all kinds of entrance tests (including mock interviews);

Provide professional advice to students in offer selection;

Invite overseas universities to give lectures at our school;

Liaise with overseas university admissions offices through meetings and activities;

Workshops for parents on further studies. .....”
