广州南沙民心港人子弟学校 | 中国工程院院士黄璐琦院士为民心学子揭开中医药的神秘面纱！

　　嘉宾介绍Guest Introduction

　　黄璐琦，中国工程院院士，现任国家中医药管理局副局长、党组成员，中国中医科学院院长。从事中药资源学与分子生药学研究。主持研发我国首个具有完全自主知识产权的治疗新冠肺炎的中药新药，荣获全国抗击新冠肺炎疫情先进个人称号。

　　Dr Huang Luqi,a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering,currently serves as the Deputy Director and Party Member of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the President of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.He is engaged in research on traditional Chinese medicine resources and molecular pharmaceuticals.He has led the development of the first Chinese herbal medicine with completely independent intellectual property rights for the treatment of COVID-19 and has been awarded the title of Advanced Individual in the Fight Against COVID-19 Nationwide.

　　12月13日，民心讲堂迎来第五讲！我们荣幸地邀请到了中国工程院院士、国家中医药管理局副局长、中国中医科学院院长黄璐琦院士，带来主题为《认识中医药》的讲座，为同学们揭开中医药这一中国古代科学瑰宝的神秘面纱。全国政协副主席、民心学校理事会主席梁振英先生携学校理事刘慧慧博士、高静芝女士共同出席讲座。黄院士同时邀请到了广西药用植物园主任张占江先生共同参与。总校长潘淑娴博士携学校管理团队对嘉宾的到来表示热烈欢迎。省政协科教卫体委员会副主任汪涛先生、南沙区副区长刘小潼女士陪同出席上述活动。

　　On 13 December,Minxin Lectures welcomed its fifth lecture!We were honoured to invite Dr Huang Luqi,a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering,Deputy Director of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and President of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,to deliver a lecture on the theme of"Understanding Traditional Chinese Medicine".He unveiled the mysterious veil of traditional Chinese medicine,a key to the treasure trove of ancient Chinese science,for the students.Mr Leung Chun-ying,Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Minxin School Board,attended the lecture along with Dr Anna Lau and Ms Sophia Kao,members of the School Board.Dr Huang also invited Mr Zhang Zhanjiang,Director of the Guangxi Medicinal Plant Garden,to participate.Dr Halina Poon,Head of School,along with the school's leadership team,warmly welcomed the arrival of the guest.Mr Wang Tao,Deputy Director of the Science,Education,Health,and Sports Committee of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,and Ms Liu Xiaotong,Deputy District Mayor of Nansha District,accompanied the above activities.

　　梁振英先生首先发表致辞。他谈到，民心每个月举办一场民心讲堂，就是为了朝着学校办学理念的方向共同努力。他指出，中医药是中国心的一部分，是中华民族的瑰宝和智慧结晶。在中国文化报告里面有一句话，虽然简短，但却非常重要：支持中医药的传承、创新与发展。这意味着我们要做的工作不是守城，而是要争取创新和发展。梁振英先生提到了香港在中医药传承与发展方面所做的努力，他表示中医药大有条件走向世界，与世界各民族分享中华民族的智慧结晶。

　　Mr Leung Chun-ying delivered the opening address.He mentioned that the Minxin Lectures is held every month to work collectively towards the school's educational philosophy.He pointed out that traditional Chinese medicine is an integral part of Chinese culture,a treasure of the Chinese nation,and the crystallisation of wisdom.In a Chinese cultural report,there is a sentence that,though short,is very important:"Support the inheritance,innovation,and development of traditional Chinese medicine".This means that our work is not about guarding the city but striving for innovation and development.Mr Leung Chun-ying mentioned the efforts made by Hong Kong in the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine.He believes that traditional Chinese medicine has great potential to reach the world and share the wisdom of the Chinese nation with people of all ethnicities worldwide.

　　在民心师生热烈的掌声中，黄璐琦院士开始了他的讲座分享。他首先邀请广东省中医院传统疗法科的王聪主任和综合科蒋华护士长，向师生们介绍了一些关于耳穴、耳洞的中医小知识，揭示了耳朵这一小小器官里面所蕴含的大智慧。

　　Amidst the enthusiastic applause from the students and faculty,Dr Huang Luqi began his lecture.He first invited Director Wang Cong from the Traditional Therapies Department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Nurse Jiang Hua from the Comprehensive Department to introduce some basic knowledge about ear acupoints and ear cavities,revealing the profound wisdom hidden within this small organ.

　　随后，在同学们的欢呼声中，化学科余量老师作为互动嘉宾应邀上台，参与演示如何使用耳穴探测棒，寻找和发现身体病症，引发了同学们浓厚的热情和好奇心。紧接着，王聪主任带领同学们一起做耳操，通过一系列按摩手法，让同学们亲身体验了中医的神奇和博大精深。

　　Following this,amidst the cheers of the students,Chemistry teacher Mr Leon Yu,as an interactive guest,was invited to the stage to demonstrate how to use ear acupoint detection rods to locate and identify bodily ailments.This sparked a strong sense of enthusiasm and curiosity among the students.Next,Director Wang Cong led the students in performing ear exercises,using a series of massage techniques to allow the students to personally experience the magic and depth of traditional Chinese medicine.

　　互动结束后，黄璐琦院士向同学们介绍了中医药文化进校园的重要意义。他强调，历届国家领导人都对中国医药学给予了高度评价和重视，将其视为一个伟大的宝库，是中国古代科学的瑰宝，同时也是打开中华文明宝库的钥匙。黄院士通过旁征博引，援引嫘祖养蚕及关于灵芝起源的故事，进一步佐证了中医药与中华文明的紧密关系。

　　After the interactive session,Dr Huang Luqi emphasised the significance of introducing traditional Chinese medicine culture to campuses.He stressed that successive national leaders have highly praised and valued Chinese medicine,considering it a great treasure,not only of ancient Chinese science but also as the key to unlocking the treasury of Chinese civilisation.Dr Huang,through various examples and anecdotes,further illustrated the close relationship between traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese culture,including the story of Lady Hsi-Ling's silk production and the origin of Ganoderma mushrooms.

　　紧接着，黄院士从认识规律的发展、科学技术的发展以及国家实力的提高三个方面深入探讨了中医药的发展前景。他指出，中医药之所以受到世界广泛关注，是因为其理念体现了系统和整体性。随着科学技术的不断发展，中医药中蕴含的阴阳理论正在逐步得到科学的验证。随着中国实力的不断增强，中医药未来也将得到世界的认可和信任。

　　Subsequently,Dr Huang delved into the prospects of traditional Chinese medicine development from three perspectives:the development of understanding patterns,scientific and technological advancements,and the enhancement of national strength.He pointed out that the reason traditional Chinese medicine is receiving widespread attention worldwide is because its philosophy embodies a systematic and holistic approach.As scientific and technological advancements continue,the theories of Yin and Yang within traditional Chinese medicine are gradually being scientifically validated.With the continuous growth of China's strength,traditional Chinese medicine will gain trust and recognition globally in the future.

　　黄院士指出，中医药是独特的卫生资源，其发展史就是一部抗疫的历史。他结合自己的亲身经历，向同学们介绍了中医药在防治新冠肺炎疫情中发挥的重要作用和优势。世界卫生组织充分肯定了中医药在抗击新冠肺炎疫情中的贡献，进一步印证了中医药在防治传染病方面的独特优势和价值。

　　Dr Huang highlighted that traditional Chinese medicine is a unique healthcare resource,and its history of development is a history of epidemic prevention.Drawing from his own experiences,he introduced the important role and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in preventing and treating COVID-19.The World Health Organization has recognised the significant contribution of traditional Chinese medicine in combating the COVID-19 pandemic,further affirming its unique strengths and value in infectious disease prevention and treatment.

　　在谈到中药的发现过程时，黄院士向同学们介绍了中医药理论中的原创“象”思维，指出想象力培养的重要性。他通过一幅有趣的画作，向同学们诠释了什么是想象力，进而勉励同学们在读书的过程中，注重培养自己丰富的想象力，去寻找画面中并不存在的那只“小天鹅”。

　　When discussing the process of discovering traditional Chinese medicine,Dr Huang emphasised the importance of cultivating creativity and introduced the original"elephant"thinking within traditional Chinese medicine theory.He used an interesting illustration to explain what imagination is to the students and encouraged them to focus on nurturing their own rich imagination during their reading process,encouraging them to find that non-existent"little swan"within the picture.

　　黄院士的精彩讲座赢得了师生们热烈的掌声。在提问环节，面对10年级学生提出的关于如何看待新时代中药和西药之间关系的问题，黄院士做出了一个生动的比喻：“若要通俗地来说中医药和西医药是什么关系，我认为是男女的关系，不是谁比谁强，谁比谁好，只有很好地结合在一起，才能够产生新的生命，才能够形成我们国家的、甚至可能引领世界的新的医学。”

　　Dr Huang's captivating lecture received warm applause from both students and faculty.During the Q&A session,when faced with a question from a 10th-grade student about how to view the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in the new era,Dr Huang made a vivid analogy:"To put it simply,the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine is like a relationship between a man and a woman.It's not about who is better or stronger;only when they come together harmoniously can new life be created,and it could potentially lead to a new era of medicine in our country and possibly even the world."

　　梁振英先生随后进行了总结发言，他教导同学们要牢记黄璐琦院士的教诲，要培养想象力，留给自己想象空间。他指出，中医药作为一块瑰宝，还有很大的想象空间，有想象空间就有发展空间。要发掘好潜力，解决好问题，才能做好中医药的传承、创新与发展。有了中医药的传承、创新与发展，我们就可以照顾同胞，照顾全人类。

　　Subsequently,Mr Leung delivered a closing address,imparting valuable wisdom to the students.He encouraged them to firmly retain the teachings of Dr Huang Luqi and to nurture their imaginative faculties,allowing space for their minds to explore the realm of possibilities.Mr Leung astutely noted that traditional Chinese medicine,being akin to a treasure trove of knowledge,presents abundant opportunities for imaginative exploration,and it is through such imagination that avenues for growth and development emerge.Mr Leung emphasised that by delving into untapped potentials and courageously confronting challenges,we can effectively carry forward the legacy of traditional Chinese medicine through a harmonious blend of inheritance,innovation,and development.This journey of revitalising traditional Chinese medicine serves not only to benefit our compatriots but also to contribute to the well-being of the global community.

　　梁振英先生还预告了在黄院士的亲自指导下，民心将在种植园开辟出一个中药园，种植一批中药材，这将为同学们未来从事中药材的实践活动提供很好的机会。

　　Mr Leung Chun-ying also announced that,under the personal guidance of Dr Huang,Minxin will start its own Chinese medicinal garden on campus,where a variety of Chinese medicinal herbs will be grown.This will provide excellent opportunities for students to engage in practical activities related to Chinese medicinal herbs in the future.
