广州美国人国际学校|10 Years of EdTechGZ

  Last Saturday,EdTechGZ celebrated its 10th year of hosting a free educational innovation and technology conference!Almost 500 people signed up for the event,making this the largest EdTechGZ to date and remarkably,one of the largest educational technology conferences offered in South China.This year,AISG hosted the conference at our newly renovated Science Park campus,showcasing its incredible learning spaces and innovative design.
The event was attended by educators across the Greater Bay Area as well as attendees from as far as Singapore and Malaysia.We also extended invitations to our caregivers this year and provided them with invaluable insights on navigating the digital landscape to support their child’s educational journey.We also invited presenters to provide some sessions in Chinese to have a more inclusive offering.We even had a few students help out with some of the sessions!

The focus of the conference was for educators to come together and share their expertise in technology and design innovation that are used in classrooms to support education.Almost 70 sessions were available for attendees to choose from,with topics this year including AI,robotics,filmmaking,bioprinting,gamification,design,and more.

Along with sessions,there were over 20 sponsor booths for the attendees to experience new hands-on and innovative technology,such as AR,VR,and VEX Robotics,offering a variety of ways to bring this into the classrooms to enhance learning.A special thank you to our sponsors who have made it possible every year for this event to be free for all attendees.

The event was also a great way to make connections and network with educators from different schools.Great food at lunch,the famous lucky draw event-amazing prizes,and a social to conclude the event gave additional opportunities to network,mingle and have some fun.

With the launch of AISG Training Center last year,EdTechGZ becomes one of the many educational events that are offered during the school year.Partnering with AISG educators and education industry leaders,the AISG Training Center provides high-quality training in curriculum,teaching and learning,research-based tools,and best practices.Stay tuned for the Training Center to offer more great events like EdTechGZ!
