广州南沙民心港人子弟学校 | 民心学子受邀种植“英雄树”，在实践中培育中国心

　　3月9日上午，民心学生及家长代表受邀参加在广州市南沙区儿童公园举行的“英雄花开，童向未来——粤港澳儿童共植英雄树”活动。我校学生不仅参与了开幕式的演出，更与来自穗港澳的百余名儿童及家长一同栽种下象征英雄精神的木棉树。此外，我校师生还接受了广州市广播电视台、羊城晚报等新闻媒体的采访。

　　On the morning of 9 March,representatives from Minxin School,including students and parents,were invited to participate in the"Heroes Blossom,Children of the Future–Guangdong,Hong Kong,Macao Children Plant Trees"event held at the Children's Park in Nansha District,Guangzhou.Our students not only took part in the opening ceremony performance but also planted kapok trees symbolising the spirit of heroes alongside over a hundred other children and parents from Guangzhou,Hong Kong,and Macao.Additionally,our school's teachers and students were interviewed by news media such as Guangzhou Broadcasting Television Network and Yangcheng Evening News.

　　民心G5E班的陈鎏珈同学，

　　作为歌曲《美丽的广州》的原唱，

　　用她优美动听的歌声，

　　表达了对广州这片土地的

　　热爱和赞美之情。

　　During the opening ceremony,Khloe Chen,a student from Minxin class G5E and the original singer of the song"Beautiful Guangzhou",expressed her love and admiration for the land of Guangzhou with her beautiful and melodious voice.

　　来到南沙区儿童公园的林地，

　　一起挖土、扶苗，浇水，

　　共同种下英雄树，

　　留存对广州这座英雄城的深刻印象。

　　After the opening ceremony,Minxin students and parent representatives went to the wooded area of Nansha Children's Park,where they collectively dug soil,planted saplings,watered them,and planted hero trees together,leaving a profound impression of the heroic city of Guangzhou.

　　民心小学部训辅主任张琦：我们学校的办学理念是中国心、香港根、世界观、大格局，今天这样的活动可以让学生在动手的过程中，去感受中国心，也让他们真正做到爱护环境、保护环境，平时路过看到木棉花，就会想到我们广州是英雄城，我们为此感到非常骄傲。

　　Ms Jasper Zhang,Discipline Mistress of the Minxin Primary Division,shared,"Our school's educational philosophy is rooted in Chinese values,with Hong Kong roots and a global perspective.Today's activity allows students to experience Chinese values through hands-on participation,fostering a genuine sense of environmental care and protection.When passing by kapok flowers in the future,they will think of Guangzhou as a heroic city,and we are very proud of that."

　　民心G6V班闫铭祖：今天我种植的是木棉树，它象征着英雄的形象，激发起我们内心强烈的爱国之情。以后看到我自己种的这棵树，心里会肯定会有一种成就感。

　　Eric Yan of Class G6V stated,"Today,I planted a kapok tree symbolising the image of a hero,igniting a strong sense of patriotism within us.Seeing the tree I planted in the future will undoubtedly bring a sense of accomplishment."

　　民心G6V班黎莹希：之前我在香港的时候，是没有种过树的。这是我第一次种树，能够有机会和朋友、家长一起种树，我感到很开心。

　　Kazzy Lai,also from class G6V,shared her joy:"Before,when I was in Hong Kong,I had never planted a tree.This is my first time planting a tree,and I feel very happy to have the opportunity to plant a tree with friends and parents.”
